Our Approach: Clarity, Not “Losing Your Accent”
At Speech by Godsey, we honor the culture in your voice. Our coaching focuses on clear pronunciation, natural rhythm, and confident delivery—so you’re understood the first time. We target the specific English sounds and stress patterns that impact your clarity most, without changing who you are.
Targeted training for difficult sounds (“r”, “l”, “th”, vowel contrasts, endings)
American English stress, intonation, and rhythm
Pace, phrasing, and breath for smoother speech
Gentle, confidence-building practice between sessions
We Specialize in Asian Accents
Our speech pathologist can help you differentiate “r” sounds from “w” and “l” sounds in American English.

How Our Speech Coaching Works
Step 1 – Clear Speech Assessment (45–60 min)
We map your current speech patterns (sounds, stress, rhythm) and record a brief speaking sample.
Step 2 – Personalized Plan
You’ll receive a focused plan with weekly goals, targeted sound drills, and real-life practice scripts for your work/study needs.
Step 3 – Coaching & Progress
Weekly or bi-weekly sessions (online or in-person in Abilene). Measurable milestones every 3–4 weeks so you can hear your progress.

What Results Can I Expect from Speech Coaching?
Most clients notice clear improvements within 4–6 weeks with consistent practice. We track changes in sound accuracy, pace, and listener comprehension using short recordings and targeted tasks.
